@Kevmin: After closing and moving, I found an archive of reference 2 (now added to the article), and it does state "Common Name: Dyuktai (River) goose (proposed)". The new page title is probably still best, but at least we know where the other name came from. Lennart97 (talk) 21:21, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
