"adds to dyslexia research"
[edit]What the heck does that mean? No reference for it, and no obvious connection anywhere in the text. So *how* is it supposedly "adding to research"? What does it add? How does it do that? --jae (talk) 00:28, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
- Agreed. I've removed that phrase. Bondegezou (talk) 12:23, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
unfair summary of research?
[edit]I downloaded and read Renske de Leeuw masters thesis. The conclusion states "Reading with the font “Dyslexie” does not improve the reading speed for reading words. However some specific type of reading errors are decreased, but others are increased. Overall the dyslectics read fewer errors while reading the words printed in the font “Dyslexie”. Further research in needed to examine the hypotheses that the reading speed and accuracy increases while reading texts that are printed in the font “Dyslexie”. [1] However the summary in the Research section contains all the negative points but omitted the positive sentence "Overall the dyslectics read fewer errors while reading the words printed in the font “Dyslexie”. This seems to me a questionable summary of the results. Why not just quote the conclusion as the author wrote it? DGedye (talk) 04:30, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
