[edit]While the current article contains a lot of useful information, it also has several weak points. For example, applications of the DMFT to multi-band Hubbard models are usually considered as plain DMFT, not extensions to the DMFT (which, in my view, should involve momentum-dependent self-energies or, e.g., nonlocal interactions). As a consequence, I view the entry Multi-orbital extension in the section Extensions of DMFT as inadequate. Also, the article lacks important new developments as, e.g., diagrammatic DMFT. I will try to improve the article in the next few months, starting with minor edits. If you disagree with any of those, please leave an argument here at the talk page (instead of just reverting my changes). --Nils Blümer (talk) 12:04, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Also, what does extended DMFT have to do with the t-J model? I thought EDMFT was a means of treating a model with off-site interactions in DMFT through an effective on-site ω-dependent interaction. Æ (talk) 14:15, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
