Yes, I would agree. It is clear it is the same advertising method. Dynamic "creative", creative being being just a fancy word for "ads". I am an executive in advertising technology and the use of "ad-retargeting" or "dynamic retargeting" is used vastly more often than "Dynamic creative" which actually I never heard of Salager (talk) 05:44, 1 April 2016 (UTC) Serge
I disagree. Retargeting is more strategic and relates to a consumer's behavior, interests and activities across the internet. Dynamic creative is a tactic for delivering personalized creative specific to a consumer's recent page views. They are not the same thing. Tark Jones (talk) 18:50, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Merge. - I agree. This should be merged into dynamic retargeting. Frankly no one uses this term; true it is technically doable in that, as previously mentioned, 'creatives' (not 'creative', as this entry implies, but creatives plural) being common industry speak for advertising media. As far as the voiced disagreement, above, that its a 'tactic' for delivering..no; it isn't. Dynamic ads (not dynamic creative, which sounds more like an arts class for the elderly) aren't a 'tactic' strictly speaking, it's simply a term to identify (a variant type of, i would add) a result (of many possible) representing a use case implementation of dynamic targeting. It's moving. Baronsamedi88 (talk) 16:10, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Support merge to Behavioral retargeting. Even the single reference on the Dynamic creative page doesn't use that term, but does use 'retargeting'. Klbrain (talk) 00:30, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
