[edit]While it is not necessary to take up a significant portion of the article, I would think it's necessary to note his recent suspension and reinstatement by the NCAA. J. Charles Taylor 03:17, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

League Conspiracy
[edit]Many Minnesota fans expected Dwayne to be drafted to the Vikings.
For some 'reason' unexplained the Vikings passed on him and he was drafted by the Panthers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.197.223.214 (talk) 18:10, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Dwayne's birthday is Sept 11th. After Septh 11th, Minnesotan's such as Jesse Ventura, Mr. Perfect, myself, lost our corporate jobs or contracts or a position in government. Most of those native minnesotans have been replaced with fake minnesotans or corrupt or transplant minnesotans. John Madden from Austin Minnesota is losing his corporate contract this year? I'd consider this all results of the terrorist attacks from 911. You may ask me why if you like. EA Sports, the NFL, and others were involved including US Bank and JP Morgan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.197.223.214 (talk) 18:14, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
He was definitely a victim of the Vikings curse. He was the projected pick by Adamson and for whatever reason the speedy receiver was overlooked, despite the fact the Vikings played indoors. He was buried in a depth chart and fell victim to alcohol late in his career. Some speculate the trouble started at he was snubbed by Minnesota, leading some in the league to believe there was some reason for that. In fact, there was no real reason other than the fact the Vikings organization has no idea what it is doing. After all this, no other team gave him an opportunity. He subsequently retired sometime after his second DUI in a city he should not even have been living in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.25.221.112 (talk) 12:05, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
