Dates of imprisonment

The article says he was captured by the Soviets at war's end and imprisoned in the Lubyanka for 25 years, being released in 1953. There's only 8 years between war's end (1945) and 1953. Is this meant to say he was sentenced to 25 years, or what? Biblioteqa (talk) 02:45, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
