'The Wives' synopsis
[edit]The synopsis of the 'Wives' is laughably unencyclopedic; it is clearly just taken straight from the show's press release. Short of deleting it entirely I'm not sure how to edit it into a more appropriate section for Wikipedia (I've never seen an episode). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aerach (talk • contribs) 19:24, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
I agree, it was laughable. I immediately thought it was a copyright violation. It sounded as if it was copied and pasted from the official website or something, but I couldn't find anything.
The whole thing is completely un-referenced, which as it refers to BLP could lead the whole thing to be deleted if it were controversial.
I've cut the fluff back to the bare encyclopedic facts. I've left the headlines such as "The Botox Queen", for the time-being. I've not seen the program either (it seems no one has!) so I didn't know how prominent these tags were to the program. I'll reflect again tomorrow on whether they are suitable for an encyclopedia.
With the exception of some of the Danielle stuff, there are no references. However there are some potentially controversial things; One is claimed to have been homeless; another pregnant at 16. I'm tempted to remove these pending a suitable reference being found. Anyone any thoughts?

- Ok I removed the headline things; they just don't work in an encyclopedia. I'm still concerned about some of the unreferenced information included however. --Rushton2010 (talk) 10:19, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
