Is the ‘maturational imbalance model’ a synonym or a different model?

[edit]

At line 1 in the intro, the dual systems model is “... also known as the maturational imbalance model”. Further down, the latter is given as a distinctly different but related model. It can’t be both a synonym and a distinct but similar model ... can this be tidied up? SLR Ellison (talk) 18:55, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

GA nomination: Page watcher needed

[edit]

Hello. User:Stash85 nominated this article for GA in November 2017. He/she has not been active on Wikipedia since then. Can someone help out with the GA process by resolving issues that might arise? I'll be doing the review soon. MX () 20:30, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]

Doing... Hello. Give me a few days to tackle this. Noticed the nominator has not been active since its nomination in November 2017, but I will review this page anyhow and wait seven days before making a decision. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. MX () 21:26, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just read through the entire article. I won't post any grammatical suggestions yet because I wanted to give a general overview of it and find someone who can fix these concerns in the nominator's absence. Overall, I think the article is well-written and has great info; I personally think some of the sections may be too small, but since I'm not entirely familiar with the topic I will leave them like that. This is not a requirement for GA, but should you take it to FA, the sections would have to be expanded.
There are two tags I added that should be addressed: a "citation needed" and an "excessive citations" ones. Please address them. In addition, the "Experimental paradigms" section has a tag that has to be addressed too. Editor David Eppstein posted this in July 2, 2018 and said in the edit summary: "None of this seems to have anything to do with the specific model that is the topic of this article, nor does any of it describe whether experiments of this type have tested the model and what their results were". Can this be addressed too? MX () 19:09, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Article failed. No editor willing to assist with review and addressed concerns. Please feel free to nominate it when you think it is ready. MX () 20:20, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
