is anyone dare to make comments on theory of notch antenna
Needs to be rewritten
[edit]This article is written like a scientific paper and totally violates the article guidelines in WP:MoS. The introduction does not have a definition of the subject; in fact, there is no definition of a "Dual-band blade antenna" anywhere in the article. The article does not give a balanced overview of this device for the general reader including: elementary description, inventor, uses, history, etc. but merely derives the radiation pattern of this antenna. As it says in WP:NOTPAPER, WP is not a textbook or publisher of scientific papers. The content of this article is good as far as it goes, but it should be expanded and wikified. Perhaps Cwru53 who started the article could revise this promising beginning into a real article? --ChetvornoTALK 02:00, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- Removed some WP:OFFTOPIC pictures of ordinary terrestrial whip antennas, added a picture of an actual blade antenna, and rewrote the introduction so that general readers who are not avionics specialists have some chance of understanding it. I think an article on blade antennas needs to be created and this WP:ORPHAN article needs to be merged into it.--ChetvornoTALK 18:57, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
