It is interesting that in general the group of compounds is azine, azid, amine, amid, etc, organic, and aromatic organic compounds rich in nitrogen... that means the symptoms could be triggered by a wide range or relatively ordinary compounds, such as nicotine. In reality, one could come into contact with concentrated undefined azine-azid-xyz compounds created by combustion processes, touch it and acquire lupus symptoms? This occupational hazard should be known better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.64.7.200 (talk) 18:42, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

Drug induced lupus
[edit]LADIES, I tested positive for drug induced lupus because of my birth control bar in my arm. This is a new type of case and I’m not seeing any other cases that birth control caused this for them but it did for me I had severe rashes everywhere. All over my face, arms and legs I had a biopsy done and once I alerted all my doctors I went back to my gyno to get my birth control taken out and my rashes slowly went away after 3 months but it was horrible I thought I had skin cancer. 2603:6011:A600:A902:D94E:BEAE:2EAA:8362 (talk) 10:27, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
