At 08:47 today user:2over0 deleted Drowningman for Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://www.musicmight.com/artist/usa/burlington/drowningman. At 09:09 user:Ohnonono123 recreated the page, again with copyright material.

Hang on

[edit]

user:Ohnonono123 asserts that he has removed all the copyrighted material, and has sought help to improve the article. I suggest we hold off. Shem (talk) 10:34, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the copyrighted material. Shem has been very helpful with making a few fixes for me. I will take a crack at making it conform more to encyclopedic style tomorrow as well as placing appropriate internal links throughout the article--Ohnonono123 (talk) 10:54, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've reworked the article a little; I'm content that the article should remain, and I would ask the first Admin who checks this page to remove the CSD tag if happy. Shem (talk) 11:20, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I was the vocalist of the band. --Ohnonono123 (talk) 23:29, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I had a chance to scan the page regarding neutrality... since your editing and through use of outside sources (part of the reason I initially used an article that had copyright conflicts but sourced band/release bios that I had authored was because I wanted to avoid the question of neutrality), it seems like the article is shaping up to be free of bias (again, from various assignments writing band bios mostly bands I was playing in-- I can do an alright job with objectivity). COI

[edit]

Given that:

  • Ohnonono123 has declared his interest here and on his user page
  • I have thoroughly checked the article for NPOV
  • I have added plenty of decent references

I'm content that there is no significant issue with COI and I intend to remove the tag. Feel free to re-attach the tag if you disagree, but please leave reasons here. Shem (talk) 11:11, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
