Possible slavic origin of the word
[edit]Another possiblity for roots of this term is slavic origin of this word.First use of this word is in 5th century- the same time when slavic raids in balkan peninsula are constant.Term δρογγός its too similar to slavic word друг(means friend), другар(means friend too),дружина(search Druzhina).Term druzhina means small armed groups that appear as kings guard or like just small armed group.

- Please bring WP:RS that support this idea. Mere similarity is not an argument, and can lead to false etymologies. Constantine ✍ 06:05, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
