[edit]Is the expression "spice things up" appropriate for an encyclopedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.166.222.115 (talk) 18:09, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- A lot needs to happen to this article to make it appropriate to Wikipedia standards. That little quip is the least of our worries. I'm going to go ahead and wipe out the parenthetical notation regarding original performances of the song; if the author wishes to address inconsistencies in the article, they should do so by modifying incorrect data, not by shouting over the top of it.63.95.36.13 21:58, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
removed from Dobie Gray article

removed Doobie Brothers again
[edit]Doobie Brothers have been removed again. Im.a.lumberjack, since you added Doobie Brothers (after myself and others have tried to remove it), could you please tell us the album that contains their cover of this song? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmorgan27 (talk • contribs) 14:28, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
- This is a long standing mistake because (opinion) "Dobie" is just too close to "Doobie" for some people to handle. Carptrash (talk) 18:08, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Lyrics
[edit]Is there any particular reason the lyrics are here? It looks like copyright infringement. 24.138.8.146 (talk) 22:54, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I'll just remove the lyrics now. If there is a reason to have them there, they can be retrieved from the edit history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.138.8.146 (talk) 23:04, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Organize?
[edit]If someone is willing to, it would be really helpful if this page, and pages like it with dozens and dozens of coveres were organized, either by date recorded or alphabetically. Just a suggestion. -Winter123 (talk) 19:47, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
