- HickoryOughtShirt?4, I'm not seeing where you link to the nomination you reviewed? Template:Did you know nominations/Muhammad Rapsel Ali is someone else's review... theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 00:23, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- Theleekycauldron, the user deleted their DYK (which I had reviewed) but I messaged them on their talk page and encourage them to re create it. I was unsure if I had to review another DYK since the user deleted the one I reviewed. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 02:28, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4: any chance you could give me a deleted copy of the page, so I can see what went down? Quite the odd situation, DYK noms shouldn't normally be G7ed... theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 03:02, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- (My nom) To summarize, the initial hook was pretty bad, I was sleepy and G7'd, HOS?4 came up with a new hook, I renominated, but another user showed up and reviewed it before he could re-review it. But yes, HOS?4 did review it. Juxlos (talk) 16:38, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Juxlos: quick note, HOS?4's pronouns are she/her :) all righty – it's probably more worth it to preserve the page history in that case. HickoryOughtShirt?4 couldn't have done a full re-review, but I'll count the initial review as full. Tick per Trillfendi's original review. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 16:46, 15 April 2023 (UTC)

@HickoryOughtShirt?4: A few of the passages in the article are too similar to the copy on the Dartmouth Sports website. Could you please check the matches on Earwig and rephrase in your own words? Cielquiparle (talk) 14:08, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Cielquiparle, is it better now? HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 18:10, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4: Better than before, but we should avoid having exact matches on entire sentences like this one: "His 26 points were second on the team and were the most by a Big Green rookie since Matt Lindblad's 28 in 2010-11." Cielquiparle (talk) 04:08, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Cielquiparle, how about this. It's a bit difficult since it's facts. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 03:11, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4: Could you please fix the sentence I quoted above? How would you say it in plain English? There is no reason that entire sentence needs to be word-for-word identical to the sentence as stated in the source. Or, if you really prefer not to rephrase in your own words, could you present it as a direct quote with explicit attribution – e.g. "According to Dartmouth Sports..." or whatever the source is. Cielquiparle (talk) 03:22, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
- Cielquiparle, Again, I am unsure how much more I can reword it but I gave it another shot [1]. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 22:50, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- Restoring tick. Cielquiparle (talk) 07:30, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

Scholarship offers?
[edit]It is stated that he received scholarship offers from DIII colleges. The defining characteristic of an NCAA Division III member is that there are no athletic scholarships. He may have been recruited, but he was not offered a scholarship by any DIII school.
