Disambiguation

[edit]

Yeah, I turned this into a disambiguation page because there are many articles named Drama. Are there any other articles named Drama? TheDavesr 06:51, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but the predominant usage is the art form. I suggest moving this disambig page to Drama (disambiguation) and renaming Drama (art form) to Drama, with {{otheruses}} at the top. --Russ Blau (talk) 10:56, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I definitely concur with RussBlau. -- Ravn 10:27, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well with RussBlau. *Exeunt* Ganymead | Dialogue? 20:56, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done. —Nightstallion (?) 20:33, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added links to Dramatic programming and Television drama series -- I've already noted the redundancy between those two, and no matter how that gets resolved there should probably be a link from here to there. --Madbehemoth 17:43, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

I couldn't help to notice that the rapper by the name of Drama is missing.

Thinking about genres

[edit]

The genre section is really messed up, especially because so much of it links (via redirects) to Drama (film and television). There's a discussion going on over there on moving the page to Drama (genre) and expanding the sections, while also being careful to distinguish it from the general Drama page, which describes a "literary mode." I'd be interested in potentially merging in some of the other articles, if it occurs. Thoughts? - - mathmitch7 (talk/contribs) 16:27, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Drama (band)

[edit]

Besides the newer UK and Scandinavia bands with the same name, there was a band from the Netherlands in the sixties, called Drama. I hope wikipedia will make a page about this band as well. I have found their music online, they were signed with Philips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHqR5C6_XU8 basvossen (talk/contribs) 15:43, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No wiki page for "internet drama"?

[edit]

I don't see an article for "internet" drama, which the internet slangfully defines as something like "overly exaggerated events, often in a negative mood", at least in my words. I dug into the Wiktionary to find this word "drama" and the closest definition read "Rumor, lying or exaggerated reaction to life or online events; melodrama; an angry dispute or scene; a situation made more complicated or worse than it should be; intrigue or spiteful interpersonal maneuvering."

This disambiguation page seems to lack a page that further elaborates "drama" in the slang sense, or at least the actual term for it (which I don't know, unfortunately). Or is there not enough content coverage to actually make a Wikipedia article that talks about internet media exaggeration, or something like that?
