Mistress of Dragons has been proposed for a merger since last year, so I went ahead and merged that article. I'm now proposing that the other two books in the series also become merged and redirected to this article. There's not enough sources for the books to have individual entries, but one bigger entry would do it. If there's no objections I'll merge the articles together on April 3rd.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 04:26, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

• I've re-redirected the pages. Here's my argument from one of the other talk pages:

It's actually fairly common for a lack of discussion to end as a redirect in cases like this. The problem here was that there wasn't enough coverage for each specific book to merit an entry independent of a series page. I did not do anything wrong by redirecting to the main series page. The thing is, something existing does not mean that each book merits an entry. Nor does saying that it is useful to various people. An encyclopedia's purpose is to inform, but we also have the responsibility to establish notability per WP:NBOOK. If you can find the sources then we can un-redirect, but it should not be done before that point. I don't mean to sound WP:BITE-y, but it doesn't solve anything to un-redirect without trying to resolve the issues that resulted in one of the books getting nominated for deletion.

Basically, the thing here to remember is that it's easier to show notability for a series than it is to show notability for individual books. I understand the desire to have pages for individual books, possibly because you like the author (boy do I understand that), but we must be able to show notability for each book to where they would pass WP:NBOOK. TokyoGirl asked my opinion. I agree with her that the best course is to leave it as a series page--as was not just her own idea, but was suggested by the closer. (that was in 2011--nowadays, it would probably have been closed as merge and redirect) The material there now is as full as the original separate article. The only actual advantage of a separate article is that the WP article will then will have a much higher rank in Google. DGG ( talk ) 23:19, 20 June 2014 (UTC)

Anyone familiar with this series care to add it to this list?

Types of mythological or fantastic beings in contemporary fiction is a page of, well, fantasy series (movie, TV, written, whatever) and the assorted mythological and/or fantastic critters they contain. This series might qualify. Anyone care to add it? Tamtrible (talk) 09:42, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
