[edit]Yes, the show did start on the 16th of June 1994 (was a Thursday), but actually finished on the 27th of August 1998 (also fell on a Thursday). It did have reruns in 1999, 2000 and 2001 (up to Tuesday the 10th of April) [there were no reruns in 2002], up to 2003. What I mean by '2004 being the first year it was totally forgotten about is', since 2004, it has not been shown at all. Since the last series aired in 1998, not 1997, the show ran for five seasons, not four.
Is it possible for anyone to expand on Professor Sherman Vermin's profile? Also, does anyone know a profile for the character Franken-Octopus, if they wrote a profile for him? I'm aware there are other (reasonably) prominent characters in the show (let alone sometimes have speaking roles) - some of the 'Transylvania Citizens' - like a Chucky (from the movie Child's Play), a Vampire, a Mummy, Frankenstein's monster, a werewolf, Jason Voorhees (from the movie Friday the 13th), a Cyclops (with a flat Frankenstein's monster style head), a skeleton and the Abominable snowman. Would it be possible to include profiles for these 'Transylvania citizens' (even though they'd just be summarised as 'the Transylvania citizens')?
I just remembered other characters whose profiles should be included here - two variations of Officer Deadbeat (a small, young, junior variation of him, like a child, and wears a police uniform - his son 'Damian', slightly grown up, and a fat variation of him, dressed like a caveman - Damian's granddad, and the original's dad), and a character who only appears in the episode 'Lost Wages', as the gatekeeper (and looks like Professor Sherman Vermin), who speaks like Peter Lorre (but in a goofier way) - 'Professor Household Name'.
Also, I just remembered about the first season episodes - 'Welcome to the Transylvania Pet Shop' aired the 16th of June 1994, 'Grime Does Not Pay' aired the 23rd of June 1994, 'Food Glorious Pet Food' aired the 30th of June 1994, 'Bringing Up Horribaby' aired the 7th of July 1994, 'Every Dog has its Show' aired the 14th of July 1994, 'Ants in your Pants' aired the 21st of July 1994, 'Bungle in the Jungle' aired the 28th of July 1994, 'Pirate Parrot' aired the 4th of August 1994, 'Double Trouble' aired the 11th of August 1994, 'Halloween Horse Race' aired the 18th of August 1994, 'Where Mouse' aired the 25th of August 1994 and 'Gorilla Thriller' aired the 1st of September 1994.
The episode 'Triassic Lark' is the first post-1994 episode (it's the first season 2 episode, and was aired in 1995, not 1994 - on the 2nd of June). The 27th of August 1998 is, obviously, when the last ever Transylvania Pet Shop episode aired. Ofcdeadbeat (talk) 00:25, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Ofcdeadbeat
