Irtiqa The Band
[edit]' Irtiqa is a Pakistani rock band. The band has been formed in Peshawar. Irtiqa has a fresh combination of rock, rap and a slight touch of pop.
The Band gathered up in Sept 2008. When M.D(Saleem) came up with this idea of making his own band. The whole idea was all about making some new rock and how to make rock match up with urdu rap. As urdu rap is on a very shorted poll in Pakistan. Well as in search for the members, M.D found Zabx(Zabi) located in Peshawar and he was very interested in drums. After a few months Zoki(Zohak) gave his hand and they started making up music.

As the band inspires Mettalica, Led Zeppelin.
The Band is trying to release their first song and video officially in June 2009. Their album has been targeted till January 2010.
SDKay(Sherdil) is working with Irtiqa as well. To feature some songs in the near future.
