Dr Brian Walker's 'Parliamentary Election results in Ireland, 1801-1922' shows him as a Liberal at the 1832 and 1835 general elections. However, I believe that Wikipedia's policy is to use the term 'Whig' until 1859 - see e.g. the colour-coding for the entries for Lord Palmerston at List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom. I have therefore recorded Hill as a Whig.
