NPOV
[edit]Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this paragraph very much in violation of WP:NPOV:
Mr. Edwards was a gentleman to the end. Though his role at CBS News was small in later years, he was in his office every day and always had kind words for those around him. He was always especially encouraging to younger people.

Career Information Enhancement
[edit]Douglas Edwards was the first host of the CBS Evening News, as stated. He and his program were notably the very first use of the Video Tape Recorder in tape-delaying a network TV broadcast, November 30, 1956. The recorder was demonstrated earlier that year to a broadcasters' convention.

Up to the Minute
[edit]In the book Walter Cronkite by Douglas Brinkley it states he went on to host Up to the Minute. Anyone know about this? Should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.103.143.95 (talk) 01:50, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
