This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... the person is mentioned in international news, even if for a rather silly reason. Any information about him therefore lends background to a public topic. Just because we do not like him or the reason why he is in the news would not be a reason to deny importance akin to other comparatively unimportant persons mentioned in Wikipedia. - 92.196.51.18
Trivial mentions that only occur because of his widows alleged relationship with Usain Bolt. Without that trivial link the scandal sheets would not have covered him at all. That does not make him notable. noq (talk) 13:08, 23 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Many of his listings are as a result of the widow's alleged relationship with Usain Bolt, this makes finding other English links difficult. There are Portuguese language references on the article that do NOT mention Usain Bolt and his criminal activities. BlackAmerican (talk) 12:05, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
