Possible conflict of interest editing, promotional style, and other issues
[edit]This article was created (overwriting a disambiguation page) by a one-purpose account whose name strongly suggests a conflict of interest situation, and most of the remaining content was written by two IP addresses from the New York area (71.190.247.10, 72.89.115.201) whose Wikipedia activity almost entirely concerns McKenzie.
It is written much more like a resume or advertisement than in the neutral, factual tone of an encyclopedia (cf. WP:NPOV). Examples for the promotional style include peacock expressions like "his innovative style" or "for the magic world to learn" (implying without proof that "the magic world" needs to learn from McKenzie's superior knowledge), affectionately calling its subject by his first name, highlighting one-off tidbits and name-dropping (Giuliani, etc) instead of describing sustained work.
The article is also short on demonstrating "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject", to quote Wikipedia's General notability guideline. Most of the sources are just credit listings or affiliated with the subject itself. The only exception is the Big Issue article, whose actual subject are certain visa regulations, citing him mainly as an example, and seems to be based on his own accounts or promotional infomation instead of independent research.
