Fair use rationale for Image:Double team ver1.jpg

[edit]

Image:Double team ver1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Guardian

[edit]

The description of the guardian is wrong. Jack's guardian is the man anonymously assigned to prevent his escape and is killed in the water during Jack's escape. 86.186.147.231 (talk) 00:13, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Make the "B" in box office bomb minuscule 81.111.9.102 (talk) 17:42, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done - well, made it lowercase, but not "miniscule" - Arjayay (talk) 18:08, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Cannolis (talk) 23:12, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Double Team Genre

[edit]

I would not list this film as an "Action-Comedy". It is an action movie, with a few 1 liners. Yuppie86 (talk) 14:44, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What do the sources say? Rotten Tomatoes lists the genre as only "Adventure"[1]. All Movie lists the genre as "Action" and sub-genres "Action Thriller, Buddy Film"[2] Roger Ebert calls it "one of the most preposterous action films ever made"[3] (and it is tagged as THRILLER ACTION at the end of the article). IMDB categorizes it as a comedy but IMDB is user generated and not a reliable source.
The film may be so bad that it is unintentionally funny and it has a few one lines but it that does not make it a comedy. I agree it would be best if only the primary genre, Action, was listed. -- 109.76.196.168 (talk) 03:31, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Frying the Coke

[edit]

I wonder if it might be notable enough to mention the part where they hide behind the vending machine got an attempt by a guy on Youtube nicknamed the Nostalgia Critic to call this moment "Frying the Coke" as an attempt to create a meme memorable as jump the shark and nuke the fridge? However it didn't became as popular. --Sd-100 (talk) 00:14, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
