GA Review

[edit]
  • "American punk rock trio the Minutemen" - Minutemen or THE Minutemen?
    • Well, "the Minutemen", same as the grammar used in the Pixies article.
  • Although Double Nickels on the Dime did not receive mainstream reviews upon its release, the album now appears on many professional lists of the all-time best rock albums" - the connection between reviews and appearing on these lists is somewhat loose... better to say that it was reviewed [later], and put the list mention in another sentence?

  • "As with their previous material, the Minutemen ignored conventional song structures and chose to experiment with rhythm, texture and dynamics." - statements like this could do with citations.
  • "Zen Arcade was released at the same time, which had been delayed so that both albums could be released simultaneously" - the "which" is awkward, this sentence could be restructured.
