Proposed merge with Massive Chalice

Wikipedia is not a collection of product announcements and rumors. Please see WP:NOTCRYSTALBALL. Therefore, the planned video game Massive Chalice should not have its own article. Unforgettableid (talk) 17:17, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

Oppose It's been announced, has a successful Kickstarter, and there's sufficient development information as the game progresses. Yes, it may fail to be released, but even cancelled games can have articles. --MASEM (t) 17:23, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Oppose Game is going to happen therefore WP:NOTCRYSTALBALL doesn't apply. There are hundreds / thousands of examples of movie or TV show Wiki pages being created before the show actually debuted. Ckruschke (talk) 19:41, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Ckruschke
Oppose Not only has it been announced, but it's the subject of significant coverage already. Let me see if I can go rummage some up. Sven Manguard Wha? 19:47, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • This VG247 article discusses the concept in great detail.
  • This IGN article also discusses the concept in great detail.
  • This Eurogamer article announces the success of the Kickstarter, and mentions that same-sex couples will be supported in the game.
  • This Rock Paper Shotgun article describes how Kickstarter feedback shaped how same-sex couples would be incorporated into the game, and about the development in general.
  • There's also a bunch of videos of the development team describing the development, if we can use them.

Oppose WP:NOTCRYSTALBALL doesn't apply since it's not a rumored production, but rather has been confirmed to be in development, and already received pre-orders of sorts through a successful kickstarter campaign. It meets the requirements of Wikipedia:Notability_(video_games) since the links posted by Sven Manguard above and the reference links already at its article show that it "has been the subject of significant commentary or analysis in published sources that are independent of the game developer".
