[edit]According to Archaeology Southwest, three of the students who assisted Byron Cummings at Whitewater Draw in 1926 were Emil Haury, Lyndon Lane Hargrave, and John McGregor. Emil Haury and Lyndon Lane Hargrave turn up again in 1929 with A. E. Douglas. Their Third Beam expedition resulted in the HH-39 discovery, which was of enormous significance to dendrochronology and Southwestern archaeology.
