[edit]Hi, @Kimdramer: Wow, you sure did put in a lot. The problem that I failed to notice a few hours ago with you is, much of it is not biographical but about the tribulations of the colony in general, or about other people already biographized by an article. Better if that information were briefer here, and the details put into those articles with links from here. Other than that, splendid work. I hope to see you again soon but regardless, keep on going. I intend to install links in other relevant articles to this one, partly to make those articles better and partly to attract other editors. Jim.henderson (talk) 01:32, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- I'm looking at it too, trying to trim down the background to what is essential, and linking to other articles for the rest. For example, the article refers to "half freedom", but then defines it as "free and at liberty on the same footing as other free people here in New Netherlands" But that doesn't sem half- ; there were presumably some restrictions that made it less than full freedom, but what were they? . If you look at our article on History of Slavery in New York, there's a good explanation. Similarly, much of the background on the Beaver trade is explained in the article North American fur trade. I can't tell, was she the same person as Dorothe Angola? They both have similar histories in regard to an adoption.--Pharos (talk) 05:47, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

I am the author of the wordpress blog article on Dorothy Creole as well as the author of the Wikipedia article on Dorothy Creole. The wordpress blog, New York Women: The Good, The Bad, The Fabulous is written by me, Kim Dramer. As I am the author of both the wordpress blog entry and the Wikipedia entry, is this still a copyright issue? Thanks.
- What you should do then is to use WP:OTRS to prove that you are the same author, and to show that someone else is not pirating the wordpress and claiming to be you. An alternative is to put a comment on the wordpress that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA-3.0 license, or that the Wikipedia article here is posted by Kim Dramer, the author. - I can confirm this is the same author, this article was written at an editathon where I was present. We can send an OTRS message in to tick the boxes if necessary.--Pharos (talk) 07:38, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
