Race?
[edit]Was Dorian black? I've seen several sources that suggest she was, but I'm not certain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.125.192.191 (talk) 04:30, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Trans or drag queen?
[edit]She's listed as both. I suppose both can be true, but I would think a trans woman isn't a drag queen...? (Not questioning her gender identity at all; just want to be sure it's accurate.) 2603:8001:2A00:7428:5D4A:8C75:B084:DDEE (talk) 16:11, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- She was a trans woman, a term that was not in use as frequently during her lifespan. However, Drag is an artform more than a way of life, meaning the term Drag Queen often refers to people who identify as male, but indulge in the art of "female impersonation" and performance.
- In short, she was a Trans woman who performed drag, but keep in mind there are cis women that perform drag as well. 2620:CC:8000:1C80:0:0:0:C43B (talk) 16:01, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
