Just read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (television). Wouldn't the same be said for most series articles with a franchise page? Support, for a number of reasons. First, the series (and the franchise media generally) is centered on a character, and there is indeed a Dora the Explorer (character) article, which could conceivably be the primary topic of the term. Furthermore, someone searching Dora the Explorer could be looking for the character, series, books, video games or soundtrack. Support. While I appreciate the attempt to systematize things at WP:NCTV, I don't think a simple, objective rule is possible; it always comes down to the relative importance of the TV series and franchise (though perhaps some guidelines on how to compare them, if well-formulated, could be useful).
