If this page is ever renamed
[edit]In case this page is renamed and {{Phenylalanine biosynthesis}} is still used in the article at the time, please edit Template:Phenylalanine biosynthesis and change the following 2 values inside the {{if pagename}} templates as follows:
- change "Dopamine beta-monooxygenase={{highlight|DBH}}" to "New pagename={{highlight|DBH}}" (without quotes)
Alternatively, just leave me a message on my talkpage and I'll do it. This change will retain the enzyme highlighting (i.e., DBH) in the image for the article.

Dopamine beta-monooxygenase → Dopamine beta-hydroxylase – Name used by Wikigenes and HGNC, also DBH used on page. Easier synonym Iztwoz (talk) 20:51, 9 December 2015 (UTC) Relisted. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 05:48, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- Support. Dopamine beta-hydroxylase seems to be the recommended name. - HyperGaruda (talk) 10:58, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Note: I personally don't really care whether the name uses monooxygenase or hydroxylase, but the monooxygenase version is technically the current accepted name per most of our outgoing enzyme database links: EC 1.14.17.1 (follow the enzyme cross-references listed in this link) Seppi333 (Insert 2¢) 03:51, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- The page itself uses DBH as a ref throughout....which redirects to this page and there is no page for DBM also many of the database links (all of the UNIPROT) use DBH as do most refs on Ncbi. Just confusing to have the refs to DBH. Also see [1]--Iztwoz (talk) 21:56, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
