Questions about sources
[edit]Hello! I'd want to ask, if you are sure that this and this sources say about Doom Mons, not some other mountains? These sources were published on December 12 and 13, 2006, and Doom Mons was imaged by Cassini on 22 February and 10 April 2007. And about this source — does it really say that "Doom Mons is believed to be a twin-peak that rises over a mile above the relatively flat surrounding plain, and a possible massive cryovolcano, but its exact nature of formation is unknown"? I'd like to add that the citation "8" mentions nothing about the information it's liked with: "The superficial features of Doom Mons are constantly changing, a fact which may be exacerbated by a sub-surface, briny ocean.[8] " — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:558:6025:0:4588:5722:7341:C308 (talk) 07:05, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- This whole article is out of date. The highest peak on Titan is in Mithras Mons at 3,337 meters (10,984 feet). Doom Mons is not even in the top one million peaks in the solar system. Doctorphoebe (talk) 03:33, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
