What does this mean?
[edit]Incomprehensible part in italics here: 'On NY artist NAS's album "Hip Hop is Dead" on the song Blunt Ashes, he tells a story that includes reportedly claiming Donny Hathaway was thrown from his window.' —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.51.83.2 (talk) 11:08, 12 May 2007 (UTC).

- surely wanna know, what Eulaulah thought, when he was singing songs with other girls and even had a second child. I think, with every new love song she was rolling in pain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.203.38.175 (talk) 00:41, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
WP:CLASSICAL
[edit]Why does this have a WP:CLASSICAL banner? The article mentions he was a devotee of 20th-century French composers, but I'm not sure that warrants categorizing Hathaway this way. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:19, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Now that I've checked, a 'bot added the tag. I'm replacing it with {{WikiProject R&B and Soul Music}}. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:24, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Pretty sure he didn't go to college with Roberta Flack
[edit]He may have met her through going to school there but the Flack page says she was born in 1937 and started at Howard at age 15, meaning he would've started college at age 8. This page states he didn't start until 1963. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhnonaka (talk • contribs) 18:49, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
Donny Hathaway
[edit]This article does not mention Donny Hathaway's album "The Colored Section" undoubted his most pointed and political albums. Not a huge commercial success, but a family scathing assessment of the Black man's place in American society. It is as relevant today as it was when it was released. It is a very important album.
Scottsorg (talk) 15:13, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
The above album was released in 2003 on Motown Records, by an Atlanta artist named "Donnie" (note the different spelling; no last name given). This artist is no relation to Mr. Hathaway, so there's no point in including any mention of the album here. I include the link for reference only. http://www.amazon.com/The-Colored-Section-Donnie/dp/B000095J4W
