I created this article for Donata Francescato, whom I have known professionally since 1968 or 1970. I have thought for a long time that there were relatively few women on Wikipedia compared to men, even at the same level of professional distinction. When I realized Francescato had no article on Wikipedia, I took it upon myself to create one. I ran into trouble, however, as I could not figure out how to do this technically. So I wrote the article and asked Frank Zhou, at account EryZ, an undergraduate here at Harvard, to format it for Wikipedia, and paid him for his time.
