Daughter's name

[edit]

There are a number of sources that say the daughter's name is Megan.USS McFaul 1998 crusiebook,[1][2]2004 USS McFaul Cruisebook. Recently an IP anon has been trying to add "Dawn" instead of Megan or omitting the name. I have no idea which is actually correct, though Megan seems to be the most heavily cited, but there is no citation for a change to the name Dawn. Due to WP:BLP I don't think we should be naming a person unless we are 100% certain of the correct name. --Dual Freq (talk) 22:09, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The ship's website c.2007 also displayed the name Megan. --Dual Freq (talk) 22:12, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Virginia birth record on ancestry.com for Megan Dawn McFaul born 4 Jan 1990, Norfolk, VA.[1] Since Dawn is listed as the middle name, I think we should leave the name out, since this is really more information than is needed for this article. --Dual Freq (talk) 22:19, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
