Mentioned in final words
[edit]Who is John (Harvey Adamson)? If it's important enough to name in his last words, it should be important enough to explain in this article. —ScouterSig 15:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC) In the biography section it is stated he had seven children, four from a first marriage and two from a second. 4 + 2 = 6. John McCain?
[edit]How would he be linked to the death of this man? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tonebalone (talk • contribs) 03:43, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
It didn't say he was. It said his wife's father and uncle were. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.252.183.253 (talk) 17:35, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

I'd like to address this sentence. "Phoenix police could find no evidence linking Marley with the crime.[5]"
If the reader goes to the article in The Arizona Republic by Richard Ruelas that is cited in this footnote 5, it will be difficult to find even a general statement that sujpports the conclusion that Phoenix police found no evidence linking Marley with the crime. It would be accurate to state that they declined to prosecute Marley.
There was actually a great deal of evidence linking Marley to the crime. The most interesting and strongest evidence is contained in a document called "the ledger," a record of an illegal casino operation in Las Vegas that was developed by the FBI. It is the subject of a number of contemporaneous newspaper articles in The Arizona Republic by Jerry Seper and a chapter in a recent book.
I am in the process of writing a section on this that I'd like to add to the article and will copy it to this space if there is no objection.Arizonista (talk) 20:02, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
