This page redirects to The Simpsons catch phrases following this AFD debate. Sjakkalle (Check!) 12:22, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notation that this page no longer is purely a re-direct page. While a short article, there is now a brief historical background on the phrase. The Simpsons may have reintroduced the phrase into the American consciousness, but its time in the sone was half a century ago. -Kiwi 12:00, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This page has no citation for the article, only the pop culture reference. A citation should be supplied, otherwise this page should be a candidate for deletion. 129.22.243.139 (talk) 15:48, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected

[edit]

Since all. other usages are unsupported OR and unsourced for quite some time I'm going to be WP:BOLD and redirect to Bart Simpson which I believe has actually sourced references to the phrase. Nobody seemed interested in fixing this and to trim all the OR information would gut the article down to essentially the same references found in Bart Simpson Cat-five - talk 21:42, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rubbish article?

[edit]

Am I right in thinking that this article is really a waste of space? Hardly encyclopedic — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.90.67.147 (talk) 19:45, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Since you're an SPA, you're in no position to make such a determination. As to the expression, I heard it decades before Bart said it. It was probably something Groening heard and/or said when he was likewise a kid. Researching it could be a problem, though. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:29, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Again

[edit]

Before reverting this time please look at the edit history since the last attempt I made to redirect this article. Absolutely no progress has been made to turn this into a real article and it is 100% unsourced. The alternative to redirecting would be to enforce citation policies which would mean blanking the page, which would be even worse. Cat-fivetc ---- 01:32, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
