Dab

[edit]

This "Don" talks about so many different "Don"s I think it is better to have it as a disambiguation in order to make navigation easier. This move should be relatively mild and helpful. Gryffindor 23:19, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, this already is a disambiguation page. And since there is no primary topic (see WP:D), the title should be the term without any parenthetical qualifier. olderwiser 01:40, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move to Don (disambiguation) If the move when ahead what would be placed on the redirect page Don? It would only be a short time before someone redirected the Don link to another article which thy thought was the primary meaning and that would lead to a lot of wasted time if another editor objects--Philip Baird Shearer 12:30, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose. Violation of dab guidelines. This is already a dab page; you are proposing malplacing it. -Silence 11:31, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not moved. —Nightstallion (?) Seen this already? 17:29, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is the consensus on resolving some of the ambiguous links with Wiktionary:don? -- Robocoder 17:32, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure about where to add Don LaFontaine (movie trailer voice guy) to this disambiguation article. Maybe someone watching me can start a discussion see what to do about "Mr. Voice". Power level (Dragon Ball) 19:02, 25 December 2006 (UTC) I don't understand why my article would be deleted, it is a true fact that DON is a school club in Australia that has ties to the californian band: Blue Sea Dogz —Preceding unsigned comment added by Koumo man (talkcontribs) 08:46, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don as in to put on clothing, opposite to doff to remove clothing

[edit]

These were originally standard Middle English verbs. [Aside: Handy for safety training slide presentations. Always looking for a short word that means many.] 69.221.148.155 (talk) 22:00, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
