Can the 'Conflict of Interest' flag now been removed from this article as I believe this issue has been address in the approved manner. Thank you.
An employee of Semaphore Computing Ltd, who are paid by the subject of this page, the author Domnica Radulescu, to design, edit, maintain and host her personal website, have also been requested by the subject to perform modifications and additions to the Wikipedia article about her. These modifications and additions are solely concerned with listing works which are in the public domain and excepts from the work and/or reviews of the works, also in the public domain. There is no specific conflict to interest to the benefit of either party in this, merely to ensure the article is complete and up to date in a timely manner. 86.215.38.254 (talk) 11:13, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- I've fixed this for you. Assuming that you are Ian at Semaphore, you do have a conflict of interest of benefit to you and your client- you work for her, and it's in her interest for you to do that work. This is fine since you have disclosed. I would note it is not "her Wiki page", but a Wikipedia article about her. Please see the edit request process. 331dot (talk) 11:18, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi again, are you now able to remove the 'close connection' flag at the head of the Dominica Radulescu article as I believe that I have now satisfied the requirements to disclose my 'close connection' as previously requested ? Much appreciated. Ian at Semaphore (talk) 09:30, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- It isn't just about disclosing the connection, but about someone independent reviewing the article for neutrality and things like that. I'm not able to do so at present. 331dot (talk) 08:09, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Ian at Semaphore Your request is a misunderstanding of how article maintenance templates work. The placement of COI editor self-disclosure templates on an article's talk page have no bearing on the main article page's maintenance templates. Those main article templates address the time period (however long or short it was) when undisclosed COI editing occurred. Disclosures on the talk page which are made after the fact do not address the time period when undisclosed editing may have occurred in the article itself. That's the job of the article maintenance template, to address that time period.[a]

Notes
- ^ This is not to say that the article's maintenance template is meant to permanently mark the article for life. Editors generally prefer for that type of template to "linger" for a while, even after a disclosure is made, under the theory that if it happened once it may be likely to happen again under another undisclosed editor. Experience has shown this to be true in some articles, which would explain editor reticence to remove the template too quickly. However, as an alternative, you may try asking the editor who placed the template in this article if it can be removed more quickly. Since they placed the template, they are in the best position to know whether the conditions which warranted this particular placement have been corrected or not.

This topic covers details of sources to added to the Domnica Radulescu Wiki page to improve it. ISBN references should be sufficient to have the 'does not cite sources tag' to be removed.

- You will get a faster response if you mark this section as a formal edit request(click for instructions), as then more people than those that follow this article will see it. 331dot (talk) 14:30, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- A list of published works usually don't require sources, only ISBN's, which act as the confirmation that an item was published. In this case, all three of the published works mentioned in the request have ISBN's displayed along with their mentions in the list. (See MOS:WORKS.) Regards, Spintendo 20:00, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for this, perhaps you can assist in getting the 'This section does not cite any sources' flag removed, or otherwise add the sources for me, as I am now unable to edit this page directly due to my declared 'conflict of interest'. Thanks. Ian at Semaphore (talk) 08:55, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

- Not done for now Please use either the
{{cite book}}
template (which includes the|ISBN=
parameter) or the{{ISBN}}
template with your request, taking care to ensure that the nowiki formatting request in not invoked. Please place that request below this reply post. Regards, Spintendo 20:52, 29 September 2023 (UTC)- Have (hopefully) now added the ISBNs correctly. Please add and remove flag in article. Ian at Semaphore (talk) 09:24, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Edit request partially implemented
- ISBN's were added to the requested publications where the
{{ISBN}}
template was applied to the proposed text as requested. - The references needed section templates were removed from two of the publications section headings. The
{{COI}}
template at the head of the article was not removed. - ISBN's were not added to those publications where the
{{ISBN}}
template was not applied to the proposed text as requested. - ISBN's were not added to the following publications: The Theater of Teaching and Vampirettes because those publications have co-authors which were not given in the proposed text. All authors of a publication must be included in the list, including co-authors.
- Additional changes made:
- Publications which did not have ISBN's were deleted.
- The Awards section was deleted because none of the awards listed therein were independently notable in Wikipedia. (See WP:BLPAWARDS.)
