To-Do

[edit]
  • Call it Domestic Responses or Domestic Reactions
  • Clean up the lead (it's mainly copied from the core article)
  • Fix broken refs (copy the original from the core article, replace the refname with the full cite)
  • Expand sections

Ocaasi (talk) 04:22, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A suggestion for a new to-do list:
  • Clean-up lead to better summarize this article (it's mainly copied from 2011 Egyptian protests).
  • Expand the analysis of the government's response.
  • Add information about looting, law and order, and the roles of the police and army.
  • Check that relevant information added to 2011 Egyptian protests is also added here.
Thoughts?--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 15:35, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No objections it seems, so I'm updating it (except the lead is already fixed, thanks Lihaas)--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 12:56, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Media crackdown

[edit]

There should be a sub section devoted to the media crackdown during the protests. These links should be helpful.

Its certainly beyond any normal incident of an attack on journalist. There's a massive crackdown initiated by the state apparatus NMKuttiady (talk) 12:42, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
