To-do list for Dog Fashion Disco:

NPOV
[edit]I deleted a large portion of the text, because it was a bit too promotional and opinionated. Someone ought to consider adding the band members, and what they play, and dates to the discography. I felt the Mr. Bungle controversy was notable enough to add because the similarities ARE pretty striking (This is how I actually heard about DFD via Ipecac Records BBS in 2000).
Breaking Up
[edit]To all editors, I know it was announced via MySpace about the breakup. However that is a future date. Please to not change article to past tense until dates have past (January 2007). -- immunity 05:29, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Biography
[edit]The biography desperately needs expanded, anyone willing to take up the challenge? Ideally a full biography from '96-'07, but even at least key events from the latter years would be good. Foolish Child 15:06, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I fixed much of that through the past several months. Sorry I never came here to consult the other members of wiki first, but this Talk page is pretty dead. I'll continue to keep it updated and welcome any additional contributions. Specifically, much of the sources I used are not properly formatted, that kind of stuff. 100loves 8:10, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
New bands
[edit]When would be a good time to start articles on the new bands? I'd love to write the article on Polkadot Cadaver. Will they count as notable once the album comes out? Pwrong 14:54, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Looks like someone made Polkadot Cadaver and someone deleted it. I think they'll be at least as notable as Dog Fashion Disco, since they'll probably inherit all the DFD fans. There's quite a lot of information here already, it might as well be on a separate page. Pwrong 17:41, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DogFashionDisco.jpg
[edit]Image:DogFashionDisco.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I'm not sure what image was deleted, but I'm a representative of Rotten Records, the last label DFD was signed to (and the label Todd is still signed with), so if there are any further licensing issues with an image you'd like to use, please contact us at info(at)rottenrecords(dot)com, and I can request permission for an appropriate resolution copy of the photo to be released under an LGPL-compatible license; if we do not own the copyright to the photo requested, I can provide a free alternate photo for use on Wikipedia or other non-commercial uses.--76.172.233.152 (talk) 00:52, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
