needs major redit

[edit]

This article is full of factual errors. Memebers of the LBRW did not form DRUM, but the other way around (as the LRBW entry makes clear). DRUM did not become Detroit Revolutionary Union Movement, but federated with other RUMs via the LRBW. The Watson/Cockrel faction of the LRBW did not carry on using that name, but joined the Black Workers Congress (as the LRBW entry also states). 69.114.53.179 (talk) 21:20, 22 March 2008 (UTC)john[reply]

Renamed from what?

[edit]

The article states in paragraph 4 that "Eventually DRUM was renamed the Detroit Revolutionary Union Movement to account for its growth in the auto industry." Yet in the opening paragraph, it states, "Auto workers who were members of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers created DRUM as a subsidiary organization". This makes it sound like it was named DRUM from its creation, whereas later it sounds like it had a name before DRUM. Which is it? Unschool 04:28, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
