Uhhhh, "cuteness?" At the end of the opening statements it says "rejecting cuteness." Is cuteness even an noun? (or am I looking for verbs here? either way.....) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.150.233.229 (talk) 15:17, 4 June 2006

David Spade Comment

[edit]

"...amid jokes by David Spade" what comment was said? This will be deleted unless a relative quote can surface.--Filthy swine 08:59, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of threatening to remove pieces of the article, you could find them on your own. ... aa:talk 02:26, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changing Dodge car timeline

[edit]

Should the Dodge car timeline be changed to add a "Sport Compact" Area? I see that the SRT-4 is listed as dead and rotting, but the Caliber will have a SRT-4 version, w/ 300hp going to the front wheels....*drools* —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MatttheTuner (talkcontribs) 02:52, 31 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

The caliber is anything but compact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.100.178.32 (talk) 13:41, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism by Which?/BBC

[edit]

While I have no problem with the Caliber being panned in a survey, the problem is that the edit as written is directly taken from the BBC page and not placed in an encyclopedic voice. Also of concern is that while the article itself says Which? had serious concerns about the car, the Beeb failed to list a single reason why. I think it would be better to quote from the survey itself, rather than use the 3rd-person reference of the BBC. Anyone else's thoughts on this?IPAddressConflict 18:31, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dodge Caliber SRT-4

[edit]

The Dodge Caliber SRT-4 should get it's own article. If the Dodge SRT-4 got it's own article away from the Dodge Neon one, why not in this case? —Preceding unsigned comment added by FogDevil (talkcontribs) 19:25, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Dodge SRT-4 got it's own page because that is the name of the car. It wasn't officially a Neon SRT-4. However, if we make a Caliber SRT-4 then we also need a Magnum SRT-8, Charger SRT-8 and Crossfire SRT-6. It's easier to keep those under their man vehicle line since it is simply a trim level. scsgoal31 14:12, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Not really enough information about the SRT-4 trim level to justify its own article. But I think a redirect from Dodge Caliber SRT-4 to Dodge Caliber#SRT-4 is appropriate to help people navigate to it. — MrDolomite • Talk 15:25, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Change Since the car just became available to order from dealerships, there is now more than enough information for its own article. I think that if someone has the knowledge to write the article, they should. The naming of the car as "SRT4" is a tough one! On certain instances of the SRT line, the vehicles are largely the same sans engine, such as the Viper, Magnum and Charger. In the case of the Caliber and Neon models, they have a different engine and transmission from their parent model. (Zw4nzig 17:38, 6 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]

  • Keep where it is. "Information" should be from peroper reliable third party sources, not just brochures and reviews. After three months I am removing merge template. Chryslerforever1988 (talk) 22:03, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as-is -Being an owner of a dodge neon, and srt4, i think that there were substancial differences in the two to create seperate articles. The caliber has just a SRT4 trim package. My $0.02.

Hello i think there are some mistakes in the model descriptions: My caliber is a 2011 sxt model equiped with a 2.4l 172hp motor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.152.153.246 (talk) 02:36, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

LPG Caliber

[edit]

Some of the 1.8 and 2.0l Gasoline Dodge Calibers in Europe where retrofited so that they can run with Gasoline or LPG "Autogas" In Europe this Dodges Caliber had no spare wheel (just a "quickfix" (an electric air pump with a withe glue to "repair" a flat tire). So this Dodges Caliber have now a dount shaped (in the centre of it are the valves) 50-60l LPG tanks in the sparewheel comparment. I think we shoud just have a short hint in the text about the LPG Caliber.15:55, 23 August 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zack McKracken (talkcontribs)
