Should this page actually be called Document Composition Software? Or merged with a related topic, such as Document Automation? Loumcf (talk) 01:44, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Document Composition is a highly software centric service with specialists businesses offering SAAS solutions. Document Automation on the other hand is a more generalized term which could be associated to document workflow and related processes. Rmathur74 (talk) 20:42, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How safe are web based Document Composition platforms?

[edit]

Web based platforms for document composition are easy to operate on and generally come at a lower price point. However the risk of uploading customer data imposes the risk of data theft. In some developing markets, businesses insist on Client server installations due to government regulations. This is aimed at client data security and the general assumption that data hosted on foreign soil may not be secure Rmathur74 (talk) 20:46, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are businesses willing to take that kind of risk or will this be one platform that is better off being on a client server? Rmathur74 (talk) 22:29, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
