Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen is a canal in central Stockholm, Sweden, that runs for 1 km (0.6 mi) from Lilla Värtan to Djurgårdsbrunnsviken and separates the island of Djurgården from the northern mainland. Construction of the canal began in 1825 and was completed in 1832.Photograph: Arild Vågen
