Merger proposal
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this proposal was to merge. Chhandama (talk) 11:08, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
- Pirehelokan (talk) proposed merger of division of work into division of labour which is reasonable, because "division of work" page has no new content, and all content are unsourced. No objection is presented since then. Chhandama (talk) 11:08, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
Why is Babbage in Smith?
This sentence is in the Adam Smith section: "Babbage wrote a seminal work "On the Economy of Machinery and Manufactures" analyzing perhaps for the first time the division of labour in factories."
It pretty obviously has nothing to do with Adam Smith! Either Babbage should have his own section, or there should be a catch-all for "others." GeneCallahan (talk) 04:34, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
