My reversions of 16 July 2013
I've reverted the expansion of the list of English translations, as I consider it beyond the scope of this article to list them all, and the full list was quite unwieldy. (There may be a case for creating an article "English translations of the Divine Comedy", but it would need to be more than a bare listing.) I've also deleted the section "Dante's personal involvement" because—at least in the form in which it stood, with no references to sources other than the poem itself—it constituted unacceptable original research. (I deleted Ben Ammi's edit as well, since wikilinking the common word "soul" runs afoul of WP:OVERLINK.) Deor (talk) 14:16, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
- These all seem like improvements to me. Not sure though why even a "bare listing" of english translations would necessarily be a bad thing. Paul August ☎ 15:35, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Difference in meaning comedy
Maybe many centuries ago comedy had meaning which differs very much than today's meaning. Comedy's meaning was a kind of literature and poet which is musical with tonality.
- For what comedy meant to Dante, see here, where an explanation that is still in the article is cited. Deor (talk) 21:44, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
Dolce Edition
I don't understand why the image of the work "divine comedy", object of this article, has been put under the image of a Dante portrait. Seems like the administrator who firstly cancelled the image that i've took from my private collection and who hasn't even rode the first paragraph of this section , is doing everything to have the last word in his personal battle. Never had those problems with other encyclopedias. I like to put other images and add some argument but if i've to start a battle orientated to a ban, I prefer to quit. Sincerely,
