- Hehe, as far as I can see, I saved this article from your redirection![1] This genus is older than Elasmosaurus, and is not itself a synonym of that. One species, Discosaurus carinatus, was an early nomen nudum for Elasmosaurus platyurus, though. FunkMonk (talk) 04:11, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
