Reviewer notes

[edit]
  • There's quite a bit of material here, occasionally the tone turns a little more "true crime" than neutral and encyclopedic. Unsourced commentary about the motivations and emotions of people like Carpenter's mother are probably kept to minimum and what can be clearly and objectively sourced. And there are places where the detail feels a bit excessive for an encyclopedic summary. However, much of the article avoids those issues, and quite an enormous amount of work has gone into the work here, I'm sure any remaining difficulties will be dealt with through the normal editing process over time.
  • I did want to mention the fact that I've changed the article title. This may be a surprise to you. We prefer, often, to title articles about people who are known for one particular event on the event rather than the person. This is particularly true for living or potentially living people, and it is particularly true for people who would otherwise not have been public figures. Both WP:BIO1E and WP:BLP1E address this issue, but you don't need to understand them unless you want a little more insight into our policies regarding this.
