1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. Leading up to November 2002, in the area around the Saint John's campus, male college students had been the subject of attacks (including attempted abductions) and stalkings. The brackets seem out of place here, is there a way you could reword this to not include them? IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:53, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are a couple of times that you switch between present and past tense. For example Joshua Guimond (born June 18, 1982) is an American man vs. He was around six feet tall, weighed 176 pounds, and had blonde hair and blue eyes. I'm not sure if past or present tense would be more appropriate here but whichever you use it should be consistent. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:53, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- The issue comes from the fact that he has never been legally declared dead, so it would be unwise to say he "was" a person, but it's hard to talk about someone who disappeared 20 years ago as if they're still alive. I changed it to "He is around six feet tall and has blue eyes. He had blonde hair and weighed 176 pounds. On one of his shoulders, he has a four-inch vertical scar."; his height, eye color, and scar have little chance of changing in 20 years, but his weight and hair color do. Does this work? @Atubofsilverware: I do see the issue here with wether future or past present is appropriate. I don't know if there is a specific rule regarding this but to me either one seems appropriate as long as you are consistent about which tense you are using. IntentionallyDense (talk) 01:57, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- Yea, my new wording is a part of changing it to present tense. Atubofsilverware (talk) 02:03, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Guimond's body was never found in Stumpf or nearby Gemini Lake after multiple searches. The wording here is a bit awkward. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:53, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:53, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
2. Verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. I'm a bit confused by the "Sources" section. Would you mind explaining that? IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- It's a "Works cited" section but I wrote that bit when I didn't know much about MOS and it slipped by me when preparing for GAN. I've changed it to "Works cited". The actual page number from the book is in the above References section. I've seen this format on many articles so I hope it's alright. Atubofsilverware (talk) 01:36, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ah the page number slipped past me when looking at the references. Works cited, sources, or anything similar is fine with me I just missed the shortened citation at first glance. IntentionallyDense (talk) 01:57, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). he left and walked north with his friends to go to a party in an apartment of the Metten Court dormitory building I would change this to card or poker party as per most of the sources. - Done. Atubofsilverware (talk) 01:36, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

All sources verified. I don't have access to the newspapers but considering other spot checks came up clean I think this is a pass. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2c. it contains no original research. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism. Passed Copyvio check but I will have to look at the sources to be sure. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No plagiarism. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. Based on the sources the page includes all relevant info. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style). IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each. No issues with bias. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
7. Overall assessment. On hold until @Atubofsilverware: addresses the minor issues with 1a and 2b. IntentionallyDense (talk) 00:53, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing that Atubofsilverware has addressed the above issues I think it's fair to pass this article! IntentionallyDense (talk) 02:07, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
