Fair use rationale for Image:Dirty-Rotten-Scoundrels.gif
[edit]Image:Dirty-Rotten-Scoundrels.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Second Act?
[edit]I mean, Act I is great and all, but, umm... whatever happened to Act II? The synopsis just sort of ends with Act I... —Mears man (talk) 05:30, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, looking over it now, the Act I info could probably use a bit of sprucing up as well (particularly the second paragraph). There are a few areas that seem a bit spotty to me, and while I could take a guess as to what it's trying to say, I'd rather stay on the safe side and leave it to someone else, seeing as my only knowledge of this show comes from this article. —Mears man (talk) 05:35, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Cast

Copy violation
[edit]The plot newly added today (with Act 1 reverted, thanks!) is a copyright violation from [1]. This has been reported to Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2009 May 20. JeanColumbia (talk) 21:50, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- I deleted the Act 2 that was a copy vio, restored the prior version, notified IP & copyright noticeboard of same; also added the "plot 2" template on this talk page. JeanColumbia (talk) 09:51, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Act II: "The Reckoning" vocalists mistake?
[edit]Although I have not seen the show since 2005, I have the soundtrack and listen to it quite often. I recall Andre being in "The Reckoning" as I believe he comes in with Lawrence to confront Sargent Benson regarding the $50,000. Andre sings the line "She played you like a pair of dice" and others and provides a third voice during the final "verse". 10:50, 14 November 2010 (EST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.114.204.112 (talk)
Reception and differences from movie
[edit]The next step is probably to add a critical reception section describing the reviews for at least Broadway and the West End. It would also be good if we could add a sourced section describing what differences there are in the musical adaptation from the film version. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:19, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- @Ssilvers: I am afraid it won't be me as I'm not comfortable doing critical reception sections and I am just happy the article is a bit tidier. However should at any point any passing editor wish to do so if you look under the Characters and cast section there is a hidden section featuring all the west end reviews. Thanks.Blethering Scot 23:56, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. I put up a summary of the B'way and West End reviews. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:27, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
